In addition to determining whether a crossing is occupied, BlockedTrax
can detect when a train stops while blocking a crossing and when it
resumes movement. These events provide motorists, dispatchers
and transportation agencies with a clearer understanding of what is
happening at a crossing in real-time.

Detected events are securely transmitted to the BlockedTrax platform,
where they power mobile notifications, crossing imagery, a dedicated
first-responder monitoring portal and the historical analytics available
through BlockedTrax reporting.

BlockedTrax can operate using dedicated field monitoring equipment even at remote locations and is being developed to support integration with compatible existing camera infrastructure. Additional integrations, including roadside electronic warning signs, are also under development.
